The Woodhaven 8657 Invisible Hinge Jig routes the two-step mortises required for 177mm x 28mm invisible hinges. Made from 1/2" phenolic, it cuts both the shallow and deep mortises in one clamped position with built-in 4mm setback.
- SIZED FOR 177MM x 28MM INVISIBLE HINGES: Cuts a 177mm x 28mm shallow mortise and 145mm deep mortise — matches 7" invisible hinges sold by many suppliers on Amazon.
- ONE-POSITION ROUTING: Clamp once and rout both mortise depths without moving the jig or the workpiece — guarantees perfect alignment between shallow and deep cuts.
- REQUIRES 5032K BUSHING & 15409 BIT: Use with Woodhaven 5032K (3/4" OD bushing) and Woodhaven 15409 (1/2" spiral upcut bit), both sold separately. Third-party bushing nose must not exceed 3/8" length.
- 4MM HINGE SETBACK BUILT IN: Setback is machined to the manufacturer's 4mm specification — no additional measuring or shimming required.
