This controller features a durable, weather-resistant NEMA 4X enclosure for use in harsh environments and is capable of handling resistive loads up to 30 amps at 100–277 Vac and 50/60 Hz. The SCA-DUAL is cULus listed, ensuring safety and compliance for both residential and commercial applications. It supports up to two sensors and can be paired with aerial, gutter, or pavement sensors for versatile snow detection and control. Included in this package: the AIR-SS-2 Aerial-Mounted Snow Sensor, a sleek, cost-effective, and robust solution for automatic snow detection. The sensor detects precipitation and measures ambient temperature, activating the system when falling or blowing snow occurs at temperatures below 38°F (3.3°C). Its lightweight design and low-profile aesthetics make it an ideal addition to any snow-melting system. The AIR-SS-2 sensor is easy to install, featuring a 16-inch, 3-conductor, 18 AWG lead for installation flexibility. It can be placed up to 500 feet from the controller using 22-gauge wires or up to 1000 feet using 18-gauge wires, ensuring optimal placement for accurate detection and system performance.
