The traditional shape of our Classic curbside mailbox is the only thing this mailbox has in common with a typical curbside mailbox. The solid cast aluminum construction, with thicker walls than our competitors, provides added strength, and the powder coated finish will maintain a lifetime of beauty. Newspaper tube included. The Springfield Series Mailbox Post features a 4" x 4" x 78" smooth square post. Also includes a 14" tall x 7" x 7" decorative slip over cast aluminum base. Made entirely of aluminum with stainless steel components to eliminate rusting. Direct burial installation is required. This mailbox combination also includes an easy to install locking insert, to help protect from identity theft. Manufactured from rust free powder coated aluminum, the Lock Box firmly attaches to the bottom of the mailbox and cannot be removed without the key. The Lock Box insert is easily installed with four screws (included). Consult your local postmaster regarding regulations governing the installation of locking inserts.
