Scaltrol - HSC-50 Hot-Water/High-Pressure Water Treatment System - For Installation: Hot or Cold Water Lines

The Scaltrol HSC-50 can be fitted to either hot or cold water lines, and are developed specifically to handle hot water or high pressure applications up to 200 PSI. Common applications include food service: dish machines, ice makers, steamers, combi-ovens, booster heaters, coffee makers.More commercial applications: pressure washers, water heaters, laundry machines, medical sterilizers, farms, hospitals, schools, detention facilities, club houses. No heavy bags of salt to carry, very effective on calcium, no sodium added to the water, no water waste through back flushing, long lasting and easy to maintain! Inhibits corrosion by coating plumbing and components. Sequesters nuisance minerals. (puts them in suspension). Removes existing scale deposits. Limits leaching of lead and copper. Treats calcium carbonate (scale), chlorides, copper, iron, and magnesium. Does NOT treat bacteria. Certified to ANSI/NSF Standards and approved for potable water. Food grade material. Used by most municipals that treat for hardness (~ 20%). Used in water systems since 1929.
