Designed to open the toughest heavy-duty cable jackets, the RCS-50 is perfect for performing lateral and longitudinal cuts on submariner cables, large fiber ducts, or large count telephone cables at least 1 1/2" (3.81 cm) in diameter. This slitter utilizes fixed jaws that make it easy to grip and slit heavy-duty cable jackets, including jackets made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). The adjustable blade depth adjusts from 1/8" - 3/8" (3.18 mm - 9.53 mm) to handle thick-jacketed cables and ducts. This tool is highly durable utilizing stainless steel construction with plated steel and aluminum hardware. This jacket slitter is perfect for removing thick cable jackets on large submariner power cables, large telecom cables (600 pair+), large fiber optic ducts, or other large power cables.
