Benchmark Anodized Aluminum Ruler Stops on 12” Stainless Machinist Ruler with 1/16th and 1/8th Inch Graduations

This set contains two (2) ruler stops and one 12” spring steel ruler. Ruler stops: Ruler stops are super handy devices that magnify the usefulness of any steel ruler by providing an easily repositioned stop ideal for repetitive layout work. With a ruler stop, you can now convert any steel rule into a precision marking tool. Machinist ruler: Benchmark rules are made from Japanese rust-resistant stainless steel that has been tempered, creating a ruler that can flex if needed and snap back straight. The edges and ends have been ground parallel, straight, smooth, and square. Graduations are 1/8ths and 1/16ths on both sides. Graduations are produced via a photoengraving process, creating very consistent and accurate markings with uniform line widths. Once etched, graduations are black-filled for maximal readability. Since graduations are etched and not printed, they will not wear off with prolonged use. Graduations conform to strict international EEC 1 Accuracy Standards, i.e., +/- 0.2mm at 20°C for a 1000mm ruler. Markings feature quick-reading 1/8ths and 1/16ths on both sides. Specifications: 12" rigid rules are 1" wide x 0.040" thick. 1" ruler stop which fits rules up to 0.050" thick and 1.030" wide. Overall size is ,780" wide x 1.25" tall and 0.35" thick. Knurled brass knob head is 0.400" in diameter.
